Delivery Policy

We aim to despatch all orders placed before 14:00 (Monday-Saturday) within 48 hours of receiving the order, subject to stock availability, security checks and payment clearance. Orders placed after 2pm or at weekends will be processed the next working day, although we may process and despatch some orders on Saturdays at our discretion. Goods should normally be received within 5 working days.

We will usually use Royal Mail or a courier service for delivery of goods to UK mainland addresses, and all orders will require a signature on delivery. Rates charged for postage and packing are calculated by weight and delivery area (at present we only deliver to the UK) and is confirmed prior to completing your order. Please note that orders to Northern Ireland may go via slightly slower courier services for heavier orders due to the additional cost of courier services to these addresses.

Please note that in order to minimise the impact of the regular Royal Mail postal cost increases, we have combined much of our first class and courier prices to reduce the overall cost. Our target delivery period is still within five working days, although some parcels may have minor additional delays as we arrange for courier collection.

Unfortunately, due to the additional costs incurred from our couriers when despatching to Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands and Islands, we regret that a different rate applies - for our customers living outside of the UK Mainland, please select the appropriate option when registering.

Freepost Offers

Please note that freepost offers will be despatched via economy courier services or 2nd class recorded delivery to the United Kingdom only. Additional charges may apply for outlying islands, Northern Ireland and Europe. If you need your order more quickly, please select the 1st Class option or contact us for courier options. Upgrading delivery may incur an additional delivery charge to cover the extra costs involved.

Weight-limited freepost offers are calculated automatically by our website, and while we aim to keep our information accurate and up-to-date, the weight limit does include an estimation for the packaging materials themselves, which may vary. If you believe that you have been charged postage in error during one of our freepost offers, please contact us immediately upon placing your order so that it can be rectified before your order is despatched. We will then weigh your order once packed, and if it falls within the freepost criteria, we'll refund your postage! This must be done before the order is despatched, as once it has been shipped using the method selected we regret that we cannot then refund the postage amount. Freepost offers are made using our discretion, and may be withdrawn at any time.

Value-limited freepost offers are for goods value only, excluding any extra/calculated delivery charges, but including any taxes (e.g. VAT) that may be applicable.

Local Collection - Collect your order locally and avoid delivery charges!

You can now collect your order from any classes that we deliver, support or where we work with the Tutors. Please note that not all products are eligible; heavy products such as rolling mills must be delivered directly by pallet, and as such we cannot provide a collection service for these products.

If your basket is eligible for local collection, the option will be available from the delivery options selection, and you will not be charged for delivery if you collect your order locally.

Please note that when ordering for a local collection, you will be notified as soon as your order is ready for collection by email or telephone. Please print out your order email/order form and bring it with you when collecting, or some form of identification, as we will not be able to provide you with your order without this.

Late Delivery/Missing Goods

Should there be a delay with your order for any reason, we will notify you within 48 hours of your order being placed to inform you, and we will endeavour to provide an estimate of the delay period. If your order is delayed and you wish to cancel your order (prior to despatch), you will be refunded in full. We cannot be held liable for any loss incurred by you by delays in despatch, and cannot provide a refund any orders that have already been despatched until the goods have been returned in the condition that they were despatched (please see terms and conditions for further information).

Please notify us as soon as possible either by telephone or email if you do not receive your goods within a reasonable time and you have not received any notification of a delay from us. We will endeavour to get your goods to you as soon as possible or you may cancel your order and obtain a refund.

If products are returned to us as undeliverable, we shall refund the price of the products less 5 (or the value of the products, whichever is less) to cover our postal and administrative costs.

Please note that whilst we will make every effort to deliver within the time stated on our website, we will not be liable for any loss caused to you by late delivery.

PO Boxes/International Orders

We regret that we will not deliver to PO Box numbers. Any orders placed with a delivery address to a PO Box will be despatched to the billing address, or you will be contacted to provide another address

At present, we regret that we cannot accept international orders.
